1ST RESOURCE WINS ESF ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS
Some of the most outstanding achievements made by people in Yorkshire and the Humber have been recognised at 'The Celebration of European Socaial Fund
Achievement Awards 2007', a special ceremony hosted by the Learning and Skills Council (LSC) and Job Centre plus at Elland Road, Leeds,
Winners included Abigail Udenze (from The Unit, Park Lane College, Leeds), Peter Dorrington, Dale Hartnell and York based Dennis King Electrical.
Abigail Udenze was awarded the 'Inspiring Success Award'
She manages her own virtual PA business and is mother of young twins. This balancing act provided to be difficult and so Abigail chose to enrol at the Business Start-up Centre, The Unit at Park Lane College, Leeds to attend training in planning, marketing and business development. As a result Abigail was able better to organise her business to hire and train staff more effectively giving her time to fulfill her family commitments too. Abigail is a real success story and has created numerous employment opportunities with her growing business.
